If you have recent upgraded and you notice that the USC amount has changed, please check the following: Have you recently imported new P2C files? If you have, the employees' USC bands may now be different. If you have manually entered rates, please make sure you are using Cut off Points instead of Bands: For Example, these are Cut off Points: 2% €10036 4% €16016 7% Balance. These are Bands: 2% €10036 4% €5980 (16016-10036) 7% Balance http://www.payback.ie/phpBB3/viewtopic. ... 1270#p1270 If you upgraded from an older version of Payback (older than 2012.03) then please be aware that we changed the way that the USC cut off points work. (See release notes: http://www.payback.ie/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=716 ) The original Revenue USC specification was not clear on how to handle certain USC bands. There was ambiguity on how to handle blanks and zeros in the P2C files, and what should be regarded as the 'balance'. As a result, employees may have underpaid USC early in the year. This is the least likely scenario. |
