If your employees are paid a different amount every week set them up as follows; - In the employee screen, put them on 'Flat Rate' (under Pay Details) - Put their hourly rate in the 'Basic Rate' text box - If you know the number of hours they most commonly work (eg 40) put this in the 'Standard Hours' box. If they always work a different anount of hours, leave this blank - Click 'Update Employee' at the top of the employee screen When you go to process the pay for the employee, you will now be able to input the number of hours they worked. - In the Payroll screen, click on the 'Units' column, on the 'Basic' row of the elements grid. - input the number of hours you wish to pay them for. - Payback will automatically fill in the 'Amount' column. |

We have now made this easier. In the employee screen, click the 'Pay details' tab. Select 'Different amount each period'. Click 'Update Employee' at the top of the screen. In the payroll screen you can now type in the amount of pay in the Elements Grid |
